About Jacob

Jacob Loomis is an American racecar driver that is young, energetic, personable, marketable, and very talented behind the steering wheel. Currently a freshman attending Tarrant County College, focusing his academics studies in the Professional Pilot program.  Jacob has been winning races and championships since the age of five.  

Jacob began his racing career in the North Texas area. He won many local and regional karting races in route to being noticed by factory teams. While racing in the junior shifter class, Jacob was invited to become a factory driver for the dominant Intrepid Factory Team. The team was able to showcase his talents allowing him to win races nationally in the SKUSA Pro Kart series including wins at the prestigious Supernats race in Las Vegas. In 2015, at the age of fifteen, Jacob made the switch from karts to cars, beginning his professional racing career.

Jacob spent the 2015 racing season testing in a Formula Mazda and after getting his SCCA license he competed in his first open-wheel car race in December. The first race weekend could not have gone better, as Jacob was able to put his Formula Mazda car on pole and breaking a long-standing track record in route to taking home two race wins.  Jacob’s first full season of formula car racing proved to be a very positive one. He was able to win eight races, break two more track records, and put his Formula Mazda on pole as well as setting a new track record at the prestigious SCCA National Runoffs at the famed Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Jacob was able to cap off the season by being named one of four finalists for the World Speed Rising Star Award.

The 2017 and 2018 seasons saw Jacob secure a spot with Global Racing Group racing in the FIA F4 US Championship. Jacob enjoyed podium finishes three weekends in a row. At Homestead Miami Speedway, Jacob finished on the podium with a third-place finish; At Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Jacob had a second-place finish as well as a fourth-place finish; and at Mosport, Jacob found himself again on the podium with two third place finishes. These results led Jacob to becoming one of the finalists in the prestigious Team USA Scholarship.

Jacob has shown his versatility, driving a Porsche Boxster sports car in the WRL endurance race at the Circuit of Americas.  Starting in the back of the 82 car field Jacob was able pass his way up to fifth by the time his two hour stint was finished and in the process setting the forth fasted lap of the race.

Off the track, Jacob works as a driver coach and mechanic for drivers at local karting tracks as well as the local race car tracks. Jacob spent each day of his summer months working for Texas Autosports at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson, Texas wrenching, testing, assisting and coaching test drives, as well as building Formula Mazda race cars under the guidance and supervision of top-notch mechanics and car builders giving Jacob knowledge and exposure to many aspects of racing.

Jacob is a very marketable and dedicated driver, possessing unmatched communication skills allowing him to provide helpful technical feedback as well as marketing skills. Jacob’s racing experience and comprehensive knowledge of racing, both on and off the track, makes him a strong partner to gain positive attention to your business.
